I felt a calling on my life to enter youth ministry in 2004 while working as a listener turned commander in the Awana's Ministry.  Not long after, I began working with young adults and God began to shape my goals toward helping teenagers find Jesus.  I served as a bi-vocational Youth/Music Pastor before finding FCC in 2012.  Perseverance, patience, and a lot of prayer finally led me to the full-time Youth Minister position that I currently hold at Fellowship.

My lovely wife, Dixie, and I met in 1994 while attending Stanley High School together.  We were married in 2000 and have three children together; Hunter, Matthew, and Lillie, and live in Logansport, LA.  Dixie is also a 4th grade school teacher at North DeSoto Upper Elementary.

Salvation Experience:
Walking the isle and getting dunked when I was 14 years old was not quite the moment I committed my life to Christ.  I went on to live a life in rebellion for 10 more years until God began to pull at my thoughts daily.  When I was 24 yrs. old a young man witnessed to me at a time when God was really working on my heart.  Through this young man’s obedience, and God’s grace, I accepted Christ as my Lord and Savior.  I entered Youth Ministry because of the impact one teenager had on my life.  All throughout history God has used young men and women to work His will.  It is my goal to raise up disciples, regardless of their age.

Other Roles:
Here at FCC I have had the privilege of using many gifts God has blessed me with.  Along with Youth Ministry, I also manage the FCC Mobile App, website, as well as create graphics for all events, banners, announcements, etc.  I love singing with the Worship Team, and I get to do a lot of video work for sermon series, small groups, and a host of other things that I love!  Fellowship's Growth Track has truly helped me discover the areas where God can use me to work in many different ministry opportunities!

Those that know me would say I am a huge StarWars nerd, and a music fanatic.  I also enjoy playing PS4 with my boys and hosting Game Night Small Groups at our home.  In 2007 my wife and I co-founded Survivor Youth Camp in Stanley, LA where teenagers can camp outdoors with games, music, and nightly devotions that teach of salvation.  My wife and I currently enjoy our free time finding ways to better the ministries that God has blessed us with and further His Kingdom!
