Meaningful Membership
One of our most distinctive characteristics as a church is our membership commitment. We live in a world where few people commit to anything meaningful. We believe to have a healthy and vibrant church, our members must commit themselves first to God and then to one another. As the body of Christ, we are a family. We are not a casual gathering of people who meet when we find corporate worship convenient. At FCC, we are very serious about our responsibility to care for and equip our members. Hebrews 13:17 clearly states that we will give an account for the souls of those we have been entrusted to shepherd. Covenant membership gives our members and leadership the opportunity to make promises to one another concerning accountability, spiritual formation, acts of service, generosity, and the like. We keep our focus simple so we can have the biggest impact possible. Everything we do as a church is filtered through our focus on helping every person live the full life for which God created all of us.

Meet our Staff
I was one of the founding members of the church back in 2000 and began leading in 2011. The Lord has blessed us to see His church grow from a family of five to a couple hundred people each week.
I have a wonderful wife and three beautiful, rambunctious children. I love to study, which I know is a bit weird, but that’s me. I also enjoy anything physically active from sports, to outdoors, to working out; simply put I like to be on the move!
Jesus has eternally changed my life for the better! Loving God and loving people is our mission as a church. We seek to passionately pursue Christ as we reach the world around us. We truly believe that the best is yet to come!

Lead Pastor
JD and his wife, Bethany have been married since 2010. They have two children, Karis and Josiah. The Jones’ are also in the process of adopting a little girl from China. JD grew up in East Texas and is a graduate of East Texas Baptist University and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.
Both JD has a heart for discipleship. His goal is to love people where they are, encourage them in the Lord, and see their lives changed by the gospel. JD has had the privilege to work with a variety of age groups and has seen first-hand the need for a ministry philosophy that seeks to equip and disciple the entire church.

Landon Robin
Student Minister
Landon Robin has a strong desire to see youth come to faith in Christ and begin to better understand the Word of God. Landon felt the call to student ministry in 2006 while in his junior year of high school. Upon graduating in 2007 he immediately began working as an intern until he became a full time student pastor in 2010.
Landon is married to his middle school sweetheart Summer, and they have two girls, Isabelle 7 and Abigail 5. Landon enjoys short walks on the beach and time with his family! Especial a nice dinner with his wife and a steak “medium rare”!
